Michael Derkevorkian , DVM

As Veterinarian, Dr. Mike's responsibilities are to provide quality health care services to clients and their pets. As the owner of MAPLE VETERINARY HOSPITAL, Dr. Mike establishes hospital goals and standards. Dr. Mike purchased MAPLE VETERINARY HOSPITAL in June, 2010. He graduated from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Mike has worked at several small animal hospitals and veterinary emergency services prior to purchasing MAPLE VETERINARY HOSPITAL. Dr. Mike is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Michigan Veterinary Medical Association, Southeastern Michigan Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Dental Society, and the American Heartworm Society. Dr. Mike enjoys playing semi-pro soccer and other outdoor activities like hiking and white-water rafting. Dr. Mike and his wife, Amanda, spend their time with their daughter and their 2 dogs and 3 cats.

Pam Smith , DVM

As Veterinarian, Dr. Smith's responsibilities are to provide quality health care services to clients and their pets. Dr. Smith has been a key part of the MAPLE VETERINARY HOSPITAL medical team since the practice opened in December, 1994. She graduated from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1980. Dr. Smith is an excellent clinician and surgeon who has been a practicing veterinarian in Southeast Michigan since 1980. She is an expert in breeding and pregnancy. She is also very well versed in behavioral training. Dr. Smith is affiliated withThe Huron River Labrador Retriever Club and the National Labrador Retriever Club. Dr. Smith is an avid reader and movie goer. She also enjoys training her dogs for obedience, conformation, and field work. Dr. Smith's dogs have gone on to become service dogs for Leader Dog and drug detection dogs for law enforcement agencies. Dr. Smith is very involved with breeding, training and showing her Labradors and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Over the years, many of Dr. Smith's faithful companions have achieved "Champion" titles. Dr. Smith also has 4 cats.

Lorrie Dibenedetto , DVM

As a Veterinarian, Dr. DiBenedetto's responsibilities are to provide quality health care services to clients and their pets. Dr. DiBenedetto joined the MAPLE VETERINARY HOSPITAL medical team in March, 2003. She graduated from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Dr. DiBenedetto also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University. Dr. D is an outstanding clinician and surgeon who has been a practicing veterinarian in Southeast Michigan since 1995. She is also very well versed in radiology and ultrasound imagining. Dr. DiBenedetto's family, especially her young sons and daughters, keep her very busy with their school activities as well as their extracurricular activities. She is also very involved with her extended family and is an active member of her church. Dr. DiBenedetto and her husband, Ed, along with their two sons and two daughters, have opened their home and hearts to their cat, Frenchie, and their dog, Riley.
